RE-CONNECTING HUMANS TO NATURE

Humans have long intuited that being in nature is good for the mind and body. From indigenous adolescents completing rites of passage in the wild, to modern East Asian cultures taking “forest baths,” many have looked to nature as a place for healing and personal growth.

HYDROTHERAPY

Hydrotherapy refers to treatments and exercises performed in water for relaxationfitnessphysical rehabilitation, and other therapeutic benefit. Typically a qualified hydro therapist gives constant attendance to a person receiving treatment in a heated therapy pool.

In Hippocrates, there is old evidence that Romans used water to treat various diseases. Hydrotherapy facilities are widely used both enhancing health and social meeting. It spreads to Eastern Europe and has been known Russian bath and Finnish bath. Later it had been developed for therapeutic purposes by Vincent Priensnitsch and Sebastian Knipes.

The effect of cold and heat water

Cold Water has a stimulating effect on the body such as strengthen and rejuvenate the body.

Heat Water has a stimulating effect as well. On the opposite, there are consequences of drowsiness, sadness, and exhaustion.
